This new version of Riverslaney.org serves now as an archive for the campaign run by the Crossabeg and Killurin Local Environment Group.
Welcome to Riverslaney.org
Riverslaney.org was founded in 2005 to voice the concerns of the Crossabeg and Killurin Local Environment Group to protest against the establishment of an anaerobic digestor being established on the banks of the river near Killurin Pier. The group was ultimately sucessful in its aim and planning permission was rejected. You can view content from the old website used during the campaign here. This new website, which was started in 2009, now serves as an archive for the actions taken by CKLEG and for the documents used during the campaign and as tribute to the local area. This website is no longer run by the CKLEG committee as this has been dispanded.
